Leopard Hijab in Modal Cotton by La Moda
Many leopard prints are dark. This leopard hijab goes the other way: a clean cream base with large, open black and tan spots. It looks fresh in daylight and works with lighter clothes that a brown leopard can make look heavy.
About those spots
The spots here are drawn as open rings with a tan centre, the shape a biologist would call a rosette. They’re bigger and more spaced out than on our other La Moda prints, so the cream background shows through clearly.
Why modal cotton
A modal cotton hijab feels cool and smooth on the skin. It’s less slippery than chiffon, so it stays where you pin it, and it isn’t sheer, so you don’t need an underscarf for coverage.

Colours that suit it
White, ivory, light denim, soft pink, sage and caramel. For contrast, try it against a plain black abaya.
Washing
Wash separately the first time, by hand in cool water. Dry in the shade so the cream stays bright.

Will the cream base get dirty quickly?
Like any light fabric, it shows marks sooner than a dark one. A gentle hand wash usually lifts everyday dust and makeup.
Is there a darker version in the same fabric?
